In the winter, the craziest things are conceived and performed by Vissers in rest mode.

Here's the chance to provide this action in pictures and to have a chance to win a publication in the Photo of the week section.

Photos can of course be supplied all year round!!

Send your photo as large as possible and unedited to: webmaster@hsvposterholt.com from the submissions, the most beautiful or craziest will be chosen for publication.

New challenge Fixed stick.....

Dear Board,

Since I made the switch to the fixed stick (Carp) this year. A completely new discipline for me. I like this form of carp fishing. I've had it with several fish. Including this beautiful mirror carp. (Photo 1)
My record so far is this 22.07 pound common carp. (Photo 2)

Yours sincerely,

Constant van Bommel

Raff Kuijten (5 years)

Raff has recently joined our association and is accelerating as you can see in the photo. Together with Pappa he regularly fishes and is actually already a good fisherman because we don't often receive a photo from Pappa.

Throw out a fishing rod.....

Norman is vandaag "enthusiastic" from our vijver in Posterholt.

Photo 2 is from 03-04-2021 with a 11 kg wheelbarrow.

Norman van Harte gefeliciteerd met je vangst.

As of today, Norman is "enthusiastic" about our pond in Posterholt. He recently became a member and in this short time has already recruited several new members for our association. Yesterday he reported on WhatsApp that he had some time today on 02-04-2021 and that he wanted to come and get his permits, then go fishing in the unknown pond.

The permit was brought to the pond by appointment and he had a few more questions, after these were answered he went back to his place and a short time later a 6 kg carp was the result. He is very proud of it and after all it was his first time .....

Photo 2 is from 03-04-2021 with a carp weighing 11 kg.

Norman congratulates you on your catch.

Niels van Velthoven

Niels has recently joined our association and accelerates as you can see in the photo. This is not the first big one, he said. They are all worth it and don't let themselves be caught just like that.....now the weather is nice and he had a little free time left. Reward gives hope....

Congratulations and welcome Niels to our association.

Sweltering hot and still some fish.....

Theo Fermont, who has not been a member for very long, comes from a family with many fishermen, almost all of his brothers are like that. On 11-08-2020 he thought I'd go fishing, but it became a longer sitting in the sweltering sun. He started at 06:00 and stayed until 17:00 with a very good result this is one of them, unfortunately he caught 6 and 2 more big Carps came loose!

Congratulations to Theo van Harte with this catch.

Constantly back from...More

Constant van Bommel has been a member of our association for over 2 weeks now. However, the fish he is holding in the photo has been caught before because after 20 years of not fishing he came to try with a Day ticket and had never actually fished for carp before.

Now Constant can be found "constantly" on the water and he even explains how and what with regard to the caught fish via his FB site.

Congratulations and welcome Constant to our association.

Theo does it with the fixed stick.....

Theo van Tuinen is a well-known person, although he doesn't think so. Several times European and World champion in the "breeding" of birds. His second hobby is fishing, although we only see Theo when we see competitions, so again and he catches a winner....

Tim Engelen

After a period of bad times for me, the good times are finally here... at the pond.

What a great catch!! Weighted 11Kg. In the hope that it may still be a good year for all of us here.....

Frans and Marco with the fixed stick.....

Frans van Deur is of course the Champion after catching this mega fish, but Marco Roumen showed him this....

When Marco was caught it was a bit intense and once on the side Marco was tired but satisfied.

Frans stated the following in his own message:
With the pole, nice fight. Fun to be with. The largest so far was 8.6 kg someone had a scale but this is very well over 10 kg. Unfortunately I was there alone and no scales but that will be my next release.

You have a beautiful pond I am happy to be able to fish here. Greetings French

Theo van Tuinen

Theo must have been proud to have caught this carp with the pole. Fished a lot is an appropriate statement for the status of Theo after this catch!!

Berend van Esch "on repeat".

Berend wrote the following text.......

Not a Winter photo but a Spring photo.

I've only been a member for 2 months and have been able to catch many beautiful fish. This one is in my top 3 for now.

Good luck Berend and may many more follow....

Mark Piepers

A day permit can also be worth weight. See here 9kg caught on a day permit by Mark Piepers, so there is another Potential member for our association.

Michael van Mierlo

Michael hasn't been a member of our association for very long, but he already has a decent status of caught carp on the Groene Bleek. He participated in the last competition of Carp Games 2018 and immediately put his signature there by collecting a weight of 37.4Kg.

Last Sunday 21-10-2018 he managed to land a Carp of no less than 8Kg and a very nice one too.

Good luck Michael and may many more follow....

Mart Reulen

It must have been a hell of a job for Mart who managed to land this carp with a fixed stick. If Mart reads this message, we hope that perhaps a message will follow from him about how it went......?

I spent 10 to 15 minutes on it and let it run its course. When I had him above water I had a problem my landing net was too small, luckily Piet Willems was near me, he came with his landing net and then it worked.

Congratulations Mart and may many more follow.

Sven Kuypers

Now you will think that Sven often catches large carp and that is true, see the photo as a silent witness. As of today, we will therefore have to give Sven the nickname, Professor Carp..... He knows where to find them after intensive and patient effort to find out everything related to the Pond and the carp that live here .

Congratulations on this almost French carp.

Sjoerd Theelen

Our Youth members can also benefit from it. This afternoon Sjoerd caught a MEGA carp as it looks like for him. Proud as a peacock, he poses with the "bigger" carp. We also assume that it won't be the last one he will catch.

If you click on the photo, it will enlarge (but not the Carp).

Congratulations Sjoerd and may many more follow.

Hans Willems

Everyone knows that our members sometimes fish on ponds other than Posterholt and it is of course also understandable. You hear the wildest stories about the successes there, unfortunately often without real evidence. Hans Willems is now changing that. He also went fishing elsewhere and yes, a pike of 1Mtr 13cm and 9.5Kg heavy is the very nice result. Hans Congratulations on this quite unique catch.

Theo van Tuinen

This week there is a very special fish in the picture and an even special man. Theo van Tuinen the man who always has a joke to tell caught a Tench in the evening game. Completely in his element, the photo was taken and he proudly said "put it on the internet". He spends all his free time not fishing in the aviary. The birds he breeds have already won several championships. Furthermore, Theo does a good job here and there......

Michael Masters

Michael Meisters has been a member of our association since last month. He is a very passionate carp angler, as they say with "heart and soul". His very nice catch is a mirror Carp. Location, weight and height are unknown to us. But maybe it's from the photo where the fish was caught. Michael congratulations on this very nice catch!!!!

Sven Kuypers

This week we have the luxury of being able to post two pictures of the week, we thank Sven who caught a belated birthday present.....if still we wish Sven a happy birthday.

Gino Gulikers

Gino Gulikers may not be a member of our association but wanted to share the photo of his catch with us. Of course, the hideout is not betrayed, but for the connoisseurs this may be traceable. Thank you Gino for submitting your Mirror weighing 13Kg.

Allan Scott

Not even a week member of the association, Allan Scott thought I'm going to test that pond. And you can see that in the photo not without success. the result is a beautiful Mirror Carp. Unfortunately no sizes or weights, but that didn't spoil the fun. Allan Congratulations on this catch and the Photo of the Week publication.
